Who we are

We promote a secure and loving environment in all of our homes whether residential, semi-independent care homes or supported housing. Every  person placed with Goshenland Care Ltd is provided with an individual, tailored care package, with their own keyworkers to meet their needs.

The residents also have a significant influence on their support plan and determining its priorities.

The team is highly qualified to manage different behaviours including autism attachment disorders, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorders, offensive behaviour, anger-management, ADHD and self-harm.

The Goshenland Care Ltd team works closely with each person to ensure optimal progress that leads to a positive and lasting outcome. Where necessary, we also provide therapy by a trusted, external resource and this is part of each person’s care package, if applicable.

Our Services
Include

Each person in our semi-independent accommodation facilities receives a tailored care packaged and a dedicated support worker based on individual assessment. This care package will be part of their plan to eventually move forward independently. Tailored plans include emotional support and practical help in education, health and day-to-day issues.

SUPPORTING PEOPLE WITH DISORDERS

We work with people age 19 - 60 years with varying needs such as autistic spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder and etc.

ENABLING PLANNED ACTIVITIES

We enable our clients to socialise and enjoy planned activities in a group setting, while still receiving needed health services.

PREPARATION FOR ADULTHOOD

We also help young people understand how to cook, budget and manage household tasks. During young people’s time with us in our semi-independent accommodation facilities, we encourage them to develop independence and as time progresses, once they become more competent, the level of assistance reduces. Support is always available for as long as young people are in our setting.

LIAISING WITH EXTERNAL AGENCIES

We also liaise with external agencies such as social services and GP to support the work carried out with young people.
